DAVENPORT, Iowa – Clear skies and cool nights will give way to warmer afternoons across the Quad Cities region through midweek, with daytime highs climbing into the 80s by Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, a mix of sun and clouds will dominate the start of the week, paired with a light breeze each day. Lows tonight will dip into the low 40s in outlying areas, with metro temperatures holding closer to 50. Monday will stay mild, with highs between 71 and 80 degrees.

By Tuesday, highs push into the mid-70s, though there is a slight chance for a few light showers north of Highway 30 during the afternoon and evening. Wednesday looks to be the warmest day, with readings reaching 87 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Travelers and commuters should expect no major disruptions, though the cooler nights could mean patchy morning fog in rural valleys. Residents are encouraged to enjoy the stretch of pleasant weather before more unsettled conditions return later in the week.
