According to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, skies will stay clear through the weekend with only a small chance of showers late Sunday into early Monday. The probability of precipitation remains under 20 percent, keeping rain risks low for travelers and holiday events.
Saturday is expected to be the warmest day, topping out near the mid-80s across Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. By Sunday, highs ease slightly into the low 80s, before climbing again Monday with temperatures near 87 degrees. Coastal areas such as Wilmington and the Outer Banks can expect slightly warmer afternoons with steady breezes keeping humidity manageable.
With clear skies, nighttime lows will dip back into the upper 50s and low 60s, offering cool, comfortable evenings for camping or cookouts.
Dry conditions are expected to hold into early next week, but forecasters note the chance for scattered showers increases by Tuesday.
