Minneapolis, Minn. – Rain showers moving across Minnesota Monday will give way to several days of dry, sunny weather as high pressure takes control of the region. Afternoon highs will remain in the low to mid-80s through the workweek, offering a stretch of late-summer warmth.

According to the National Weather Service Twin Cities, showers will taper off from west to east Monday afternoon, leaving behind clearing skies. By Tuesday, much of the state will see partly cloudy conditions with temperatures ranging from 75 to 80 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring mostly sunny skies and highs climbing back into the low 80s, ideal for outdoor activities and late-summer travel. The Minnesota Department of Transportation noted that dry weather should improve visibility and road conditions after Monday’s wet commute.

By Friday, a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms returns, but most areas will stay dry with temperatures continuing in the upper 70s to low 80s. Residents planning outdoor events are encouraged to monitor Friday’s storm chances, though widespread rain is not expected.

More updates are expected if storm chances increase late week.
