Wilmington, Ohio – Southwest Ohio will see another warm, mostly dry day Thursday, with temperatures climbing above seasonal averages and only an isolated chance of a shower or storm south of the Ohio River.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, much of the region will remain dry under mostly sunny skies. Highs will push into the mid-to-upper 80s, with a few spots near 90°F by late afternoon.
Humidity levels are on the rise and will continue to build heading into the weekend. Cities like Dayton, Springfield, and Hillsboro should expect gradually warming temperatures through Sunday, with a slightly better chance for rain arriving early next week.
No severe weather is expected today, but those living near Portsmouth and south-central counties should stay alert for pop-up afternoon cells.
