Las Vegas, Nevada – Las Vegas is entering one of its most intense summer stretches yet, with daytime highs expected to reach a scorching 110°F by Wednesday and again on Friday, making heat illness a growing concern for residents and visitors alike.
According to the National Weather Service, the city will see consecutive triple-digit highs through at least Friday, starting with 106°F Saturday and climbing steadily each day. Tuesday is forecast to hit 108°F before peaking at 110°F midweek. Overnight lows in the upper 70s and low 80s will offer little cooling relief, especially in urban areas.
Southern Nevada communities including Paradise, Henderson, and Sunrise Manor will feel the brunt of the heat, particularly during late afternoon hours when the heat index could exceed actual temperatures. Outdoor workers and vulnerable populations should take precautions—hydration, shaded breaks, and limiting midday activity are essential.
While winds may briefly increase to 18–20 mph during the evenings, offering slight cooling, the overall pattern remains dangerously hot. The heat dome over the region shows little sign of breaking before next weekend.
More updates may follow if an Excessive Heat Warning is issued, but for now, warnings remain in place for prolonged extreme heat through Friday.
