Orland Park, Illinois to Host 22nd Taste of Orland Park This Weekend with Music, Food, and Family Fun

Orland Park, IL – A summer tradition returns this weekend as the 22nd annual Taste of Orland Park kicks off Friday at the Village Green, offering three days of live entertainment, local food vendors, and family-friendly activities.

According to Orland Park Recreation, the event begins Friday, August 1 from 5 to 11 p.m. and continues Saturday from 3 to 11 p.m., wrapping up Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. at 14700 S. Ravinia Avenue. Guests can expect performances from 11 bands, Battle of the Bands, karaoke, Orland Park’s Got Talent, and a Kid’s Zone featuring carnival games, crafts, and character meet-and-greets.

Admission and parking are free, with several lots available nearby, including Orland Township, Orland Park Library, and the Red Lobster on La Grange Road. Ravinia Avenue will be closed between 147th and 149th streets one hour before gates open each day.

Main stage acts include Sixteen Candles (Friday), 7th Heaven (Saturday), and One Vision of Queen featuring Marc Martel (Sunday). The event also features a Drone Show Friday night and Fireworks Sunday evening.

Over a dozen local eateries will serve up signature dishes, including Barraco’s, Cooper’s Hawk Winery, Joey’s Red Hots, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. No outside food or beverages are allowed, with the exception of one unopened water bottle per person.

Event organizers remind attendees that glass containers, alcohol, umbrellas, scooters, and smoking/vaping are prohibited within fenced areas. Chairs and blankets are permitted, provided they are not stored in bags upon entry.
