East Los Angeles, CA – Drivers in East L.A. could face reduced visibility early Sunday as patchy fog lingers until late morning before skies clear.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, fog will persist until around 11 a.m. Sunday, June 29, with highs reaching 85°F by afternoon. Light southwest winds will increase to 5–10 mph, and similar weather patterns will continue into the 4th of July. Visibility concerns may impact early travel on I-5, I-10, and the 710 freeway.

Daytime heat will build under mostly sunny skies by midday Sunday and persist through Tuesday, with highs holding between 81°F and 85°F. Each morning through Wednesday, expect low clouds and fog, especially near the coast and valleys, clearing gradually after 10–11 a.m. overnight lows remain steady in the lower 60s.

By Thursday, July 4th, temperatures dip slightly to 79°F, with another round of patchy morning fog possible. Fireworks watchers and paradegoers should plan for cool, damp starts before conditions warm by the afternoon.
