Davenport, Iowa – Sunshine and near-perfect Memorial Day weather will give way to a damp midweek across the Quad Cities region, with light rain and cooler temperatures moving in Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, Monday will remain dry with highs between 69°F and 72°F under partly cloudy skies. However, a slow-moving system will bring 30–60% chances of rain Tuesday through Wednesday night. Daytime highs will range from the mid-60s to near 70°F, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 40s.

Rain is expected to be light but steady at times, affecting areas from Rock Island and Bettendorf to Galesburg and Clinton. Commuters may notice wet roads and occasional ponding during heavier bouts, especially in low-lying areas. Umbrellas and rain jackets will be wise additions through midweek.

Thursday looks drier but still cloudy, with highs rebounding into the low 70s. This stretch marks a shift to more seasonal and unsettled weather after a pleasant holiday weekend.

Additional updates are expected if rain chances increase or heavier pockets develop. Keep checking local alerts for changing conditions through Wednesday night.
