According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, a Frost Advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Sunday, impacting Baraga, Marquette, Delta, Dickinson, and surrounding counties. Early morning temperatures may dip to 30°F before rebounding sharply under sunny skies. Sensitive plants should be covered or brought indoors immediately.
By Memorial Day, conditions improve significantly. Sunshine and highs near 61°F will dominate Monday, with calm winds making for ideal outdoor celebrations. Roads including M-28 and US-41 should remain dry and safe for travel through Tuesday.
Tuesday’s forecast stays consistent with a high near 61°F and mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will hold around 45°F, reducing the risk of additional frost. However, a shift begins midweek.
By Wednesday, a 40% chance of showers enters the region, especially after 8 a.m. Daytime highs stay mild near 58°F, but increasing cloud cover may affect visibility on area roads. Rain chances persist into Wednesday night, with lows in the mid-40s.
