Las Vegas, Nevada – Blowing dust and breezy conditions could create reduced visibility and minor travel disruptions across Las Vegas Saturday afternoon, with wind gusts reaching up to 22 mph.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, patchy blowing dust is expected after 1 p.m. Saturday as temperatures climb to a high near 87°F. Winds will shift from the south-southwest at 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Breezy conditions will continue into Saturday night with a slight 20% chance of showers before midnight.

Drivers along I-15 and in open desert areas should stay alert for rapidly changing visibility. Those with respiratory issues may want to limit outdoor activity during the afternoon peak.

Conditions will clear by Sunday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 78°F. Monday and Tuesday will warm up again, reaching the upper 80s to low 90s by midweek.

More weather alerts may be issued if dust or wind conditions worsen.
