By Friday afternoon, a new hazard enters the picture. A slight chance of thunderstorms is expected after 3 p.m. Friday, followed by stronger storms into the evening. Some cells could produce hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter and damaging wind gusts, with conditions most active between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Spotter activation may be needed.
