Motorists traveling on I-75, M-10, and the Lodge Freeway through Detroit late Thursday should expect slick pavement and brief visibility drops. While flooding isn’t expected, drivers should slow down during any downpours. Outdoor evening plans, including school sports or community events, may be interrupted. Keep devices charged and secure loose outdoor items ahead of the storm’s arrival.
Friday rebounds with sunny skies and a high near 84°F, making it one of the warmest days this spring. However, additional showers and thunderstorm chances return Friday night into Saturday morning. The unsettled pattern continues early next week, with another round of rain likely Monday night into Tuesday.
