By Monday night, Amarillo faces a 100% chance of showers, with possible storms producing lightning, heavy rainfall, and wind gusts reaching 30 mph.

Tuesday brings continued instability—expect storms after 1 p.m., with a 90% chance of precipitation and gusty east winds near 25 mph. Thunderstorms could linger into Tuesday night as another disturbance moves through.
