According to the National Weather Service, the watch includes multiple counties in South Central and Southwest Illinois, including Washington, Monroe, and St. Clair, as well as East Central Missouri areas such as Jefferson and Washington counties. Cities like Belleville, Cahokia, and Chester are included in the warning, while Missouri cities like Farmington and Sparta are also at risk.
The watch has been extended to cover additional regions, including St. Louis, Madison, Marion, and other parts of Missouri. The severe weather threat involves heavy rain, gusty winds, and the possibility of hail, impacting areas like Alton, Centralia, and St. Louis.
Arkansas is also experiencing some coverage under this watch, including counties like Baxter, Boone, and Marion.
