Philadelphia, PA – After several days of wet weather, the region is set to dry out on Sunday, April 13. The forecast calls for a cloudy start with the possibility of sunshine later in the day. High temperatures will remain in the upper 50s, a few degrees cooler than normal for mid-April.

According to the National Weather Service, the showers that have been moving across the area will move off the coast, making way for clearer skies in the afternoon. Residents can expect a much-needed dry period after the damp conditions of the past few days.

While conditions improve later, those heading out in the morning should be prepared for overcast skies. Temperatures will be cooler than usual, with highs ranging from 55°F in Long Branch to 59°F in Dover.

For those planning outdoor activities, it’s a good idea to dress in layers and bring along a jacket. The transition to dry weather means a break from the rain, but the cooler temperatures will persist throughout the day.

This weather pattern is expected to continue into the upcoming week.
