Columbus, OH – Ohio will experience slightly cooler than usual weather today, with high temperatures ranging from 49°F to 64°F across the state. Many areas, including Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, will see highs near 59°F, with the western regions, like Richmond and Brookville, expected to reach 57°F.
According to the National Weather Service, the temperatures will continue to dip Friday, with highs ranging from the upper 40s to low 50s in much of Ohio. Cities like Celina and Kenton will see highs near 47°F, while southern cities like Cincinnati will be slightly warmer, hitting 51°F. This dip in temperature is part of a broader trend as Ohio experiences cooler-than-normal conditions for early April.
Travelers are advised to prepare for the cooler weather by dressing in layers, especially on Friday. The chill will be more noticeable across northern and central Ohio. With these below-normal temperatures, farmers in rural areas are urged to protect tender crops from potential frost damage during the colder evenings.
