Chicago, IL – The National Weather Service in Chicago is forecasting chilly conditions to continue through the middle of this week, with temperatures dropping to between 20°F and 28°F tonight. By Tuesday, daytime highs will range from 40°F to 46°F, and a mix of rain and snow is expected to arrive by Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, rain chances will pick up on Wednesday, while temperatures remain cool, ranging from 43°F to 54°F. Thursday’s weather will also be marked by cooler conditions, especially near Lake Michigan, with highs reaching between 49°F and 54°F.
This storm system is expected to bring more precipitation to the region, although temperatures will gradually moderate toward the end of the week. By Friday, highs will be between 49°F and 57°F, and Saturday will bring milder weather with temperatures reaching 52°F to 62°F.
Residents are advised to prepare for rain and snow, especially through midweek, and to monitor local forecasts for any changes to travel conditions.
