Milwaukee, WI – A sharp shift in Wisconsin’s spring weather will bring rain, snow, and gusty winds to Milwaukee starting Monday afternoon, creating potential travel impacts along I-94 and surrounding roadways.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers will begin after 4 p.m. Monday, with breezy conditions developing across southeastern Wisconsin. Wind gusts could reach 30 mph, especially during evening hours. Drivers are urged to exercise caution during commutes as changing conditions could reduce visibility and create slick spots, especially on elevated surfaces.

By Monday night, rain and snow chances continue under partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures are expected to dip near 23°F, with northwest winds persisting at 10 to 15 mph. While snow accumulation is expected to be light, the timing during rush hour could lead to delays and slower traffic patterns.

Tuesday’s weather offers a brief reprieve, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 39°F. However, frost is a concern Tuesday night as lows fall to 29°F under mostly clear skies. Gardeners and homeowners should protect sensitive plants and outdoor plumbing as a precaution.
