Forecasters predict 3 to 6 inches of wet, heavy snow in these areas, with lesser amounts south of Highway 29 due to rain mixing with snow at times. The greatest impacts are expected between 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday.
Light ice accumulation is also possible in central and north-central Wisconsin, especially overnight Sunday into early Monday. Motorists should prepare for slippery roads and limited visibility, particularly in areas like Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay, and Shawano. Snow is expected to spread west to east, transitioning from wintry mix to all snow by early Sunday morning.
