Amazon employees who have worked for Amazon throughout the month of June are set to qualify for over $500 million dollars in bonuses delivered to thank front-line workers, including warehouse, delivery and Whole Foods employees during the pandemic.

Employees both full and part-time will receive payments up to $500 with Whole Foods Market managers getting up to $1,000.  Amazon Flex drivers who also meet requirements will see $150 while Delivery Service Partner owners will get $3,000.

Prior to the announcement, Amazon had offered eligible employees a $2 per hour pay increase.  Employers like Kroger had also offered a “Hero Bonus” during the early months of the pandemic.
