DuPage County, IL — Elmhurst PD Celebrates Retired Officers

Elmhurst, Ill. — The Elmhurst Police Department shared this week that three officers have retired in the last month. The department congratulated each of these officers on their retirement and work in the department.

In June, the Elmhurst PD celebrated Officer Daniel Torza, who served 20 years in the City of Elmhurst. Torza was a patrol officer, detective and mission team officer with the department. Torza also was an investigator with the DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force, the department shared.

Two weeks ago, Service Officer Ben Muellers retired after 20 years with Elmhurst PD. Muellers was a community service officer, parking control officer and the department’s property and evidence technician.

Finally, this past week the department celebrated Officer Jim O’Connor, who finished 27 years with the City of Elmhurst. O’Connor served in the department as a patrol officer and evidence technician. O’Connor was also a member of the DuPage County Major Crash Reconstruction Team.
