Gila Bend, AZ – A vehicle fire has forced the closure of Interstate 8 westbound east of Gila Bend near milepost 138, authorities reported Thursday.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the closure began after a fire erupted, and motorists in the area are being urged to seek alternate routes. Delays are expected, though eastbound lanes remain open.
