Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Drivers across southeastern Wisconsin could encounter pockets of reduced visibility overnight into the Friday morning commute as patchy fog develops before sunshine returns and temperatures climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
According to the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan office, patchy fog is expected overnight into Friday morning, followed by dry and mostly sunny conditions. Overnight lows across the region will range from 54 to 63 degrees with a 0% precipitation chance.
Milwaukee and surrounding southeastern Wisconsin communities should see the fog lift Friday morning, leaving mostly sunny skies. Highs across the region will reach 76 to 81 degrees, with lows Friday night between 59 and 63. Rain chances range from 0% to 21%.
Motorists traveling early Friday should watch for sudden visibility changes, particularly in low lying areas and locations near waterways. Drivers should use low beam headlights in fog and allow extra following distance where visibility drops.
Saturday morning could bring a stray sprinkle before a mix of sun and clouds develops. Most locations should remain dry, with highs of 77 to 82 degrees and lows between 51 and 61. Rain chances remain only around 13% to 14%.
Seasonal temperatures and largely dry conditions will dominate the start of the weekend, though residents with Saturday morning plans should monitor updates for any changes in sprinkle coverage.
