La Crosse, WI – Mostly dry weather is expected across the region through much of the workweek, with temperatures warming into the 70s by Tuesday and only a limited chance for light rain in central Wisconsin.
According to the National Weather Service in La Crosse, Monday, Oct. 5, will feature highs ranging from 64 to 69 degrees. The agency said there is a low potential for light rain in central Wisconsin, with otherwise dry conditions expected.
Temperatures climb noticeably Tuesday. Highs across the forecast area are expected to range from 72 to 78 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Wednesday remains mild and mostly sunny, with highs from 69 to 74 degrees. Thursday's temperatures are forecast between 66 and 73, with generally sunny conditions continuing.
Highs Friday will range more widely from 63 to 73 degrees as some additional clouds develop. Temperatures rebound somewhat Saturday, with highs ranging from 66 to 76 degrees.
The NWS outlook does not indicate a significant rain event through Saturday. Any rain associated with the early week pattern is expected to be light and primarily focused on central Wisconsin.
Residents across the La Crosse region can expect Monday's cooler conditions to give way to a warmer Tuesday, followed by generally mild temperatures for the remainder of the week. After the limited light rain potential in central Wisconsin, mostly dry weather should dominate through the workweek.
