Green Bay, WI – Rain showers will become more widespread across northeast Wisconsin tonight before dry, breezy and mostly sunny weather returns Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, shower chances increase Saturday morning mainly north of Highway 29. Most locations in central and east central Wisconsin will see some sunshine before clouds and rain become more widespread later.
Saturday highs are forecast to range from 59 to 66 degrees. Light rain chances of 40% to 70% are focused mainly north of Highway 29 during the day, while much of the region remains mostly cloudy.
Rain coverage increases Saturday evening, when the NWS forecasts a 50% to 80% chance of light showers across the region.
The showers should diminish later tonight, with skies becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Overnight lows will fall into the 43 to 50 degree range.
Conditions improve substantially Sunday. The NWS expects dry weather and mostly sunny skies across northeast Wisconsin, although breezy conditions will develop.
Sunday afternoon temperatures will remain seasonable, with highs ranging from 59 to 68 degrees across the region.
The forecast does not indicate heavy rain, thunderstorms or significant weather hazards with Saturday's showers. Instead, the primary change will be an expansion of light rain from northern Wisconsin into more of the region during the evening.
