University of Washington researchers are leading or contributing to four projects in the Department of Energy’s Genesis Mission, a national effort using AI and advanced computing to speed scientific breakthroughs. The work spans terahertz imaging, protein design and astronomy data systems, with potential implications for augmented reality, energy and national security.
