Bridgewater, VT Crime Alert: Man Arrested in Weekend Route 100 and US 4 DUI Crash Bridgewater, Vermont – A 35 year old man was arrested after allegedly crashing a vehicle and fleeing the scene Saturday night at a major Bridgewater intersection, according to local authorities.
Police responded to the area of Route 100 and US 4 following reports of a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officials discovered the vehicle abandoned, but following an investigation, they were able to locate the driver nearby.
The suspect, a 35 year old local resident, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence DUI . He was processed and released on a citation to appear in court at a later date. No significant injuries were reported in connection with the crash.
