According to the Wilson County Sheriff 's Office, deputies assisted with federal and state search warrants Tuesday, October 27, at two locations in Wilson County described by authorities as critical hubs for the cartel.
The investigation began nearly a year ago.
Sheriff's officials said the case started in late 2025 as a local narcotics investigation involving Wilson and Davidson counties before expanding into a multi agency operation.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations joined federal, state and local law enforcement partners.
The reported seizures were substantial.
Authorities said investigators recovered approximately:

One detail stands out: Where investigators say some leaders operated.
According to authorities, individuals allegedly directing parts of the trafficking operation were doing so from inside Tennessee Department of Correction facilities.
The sheriff's office said the investigation involved assistance from the FBI, DEA, IRS Criminal Investigation, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Secret Service, Tennessee Highway Patrol and numerous other agencies.
Sheriff Robert Bryan credited the cooperation among agencies for bringing the investigation to a successful conclusion.
Authorities said suspects were safely detained during Tuesday's warrant operations, with evidence still being processed and additional charges anticipated.

The investigation represents a significant regional law enforcement operation targeting an alleged international drug trafficking network operating in Middle Tennessee.
