Fayetteville, TN – The Lincoln County Sheriff 's Office is asking residents and former customers of a Fayetteville flooring business to come forward as investigators gather information about potentially unfinished projects, missing payments and other financial concerns.
According to a public information request issued Monday, Oct. 19, investigators are seeking individuals who conducted business with Flooring Warehouse LLC or its owner, Terrell Allison, involving flooring installation, construction, renovations or other contracted services.
Authorities are particularly interested in speaking with customers who paid deposits or other funds for projects or materials that were never completed or delivered.
Investigators also want to hear from people who entered agreements for services that allegedly were not performed as promised.
Other circumstances being reviewed include repeated project delays, difficulties obtaining refunds, checks returned for insufficient funds and other potential financial losses.
The Sheriff's Office is encouraging anyone with relevant information to preserve documentation that could assist investigators.
Such records may include signed contracts, estimates, invoices, receipts, payment records, canceled checks, returned check notices, text messages, emails and photographs.
Officials emphasized that the purpose of the request is to identify individuals with potentially relevant information, document reported incidents and determine whether additional investigative action is warranted.
The Sheriff's Office specifically stated that its public information request does not imply a determination of criminal wrongdoing.
Residents who believe they may have been affected, or who have information involving the business or its owner, are encouraged to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
