According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh , an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is possible in the watch area, with higher localized totals potentially exacerbating the danger to small creeks, streams, and low lying roads.
Drivers should exercise extreme caution, especially during overnight travel when flooded roadways are harder to spot. If you encounter water covering a road, the safest action is to turn around and find an alternate route to avoid stalling or being swept away in moving water.
