Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia region faces a wetter finish to the weekend as the remnants of Tropical Storm Isaias increase shower chances across eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Sunday and Sunday night.
According to the National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly, temperatures will turn milder through Thursday before some cooling arrives to end the week and continue through the weekend. Shower chances specifically associated with the remnants of Isaias increase Sunday.
Wednesday will remain dry, with regional highs ranging from 62 to 70 degrees . Thursday brings the warmest conditions of the five day outlook, with highs between 66 and 77 degrees .
Sunshine and dry weather continue Friday, when highs range from 64 to 73 degrees.
Saturday currently appears to offer the better weekend conditions for outdoor activities. Highs are forecast between 66 and 74 degrees , with partly cloudy skies and no widespread rain shown in the outlook.
Conditions begin changing Sunday as moisture associated with Isaias' remnants approaches the region. Highs will range from 65 to 72 degrees , with showers becoming possible during the day and continuing Sunday night.
