Eugene, OR – A Eugene man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison after pleading guilty to six counts stemming from a Lane County child exploitation investigation.
According to the Lane County Sheriff ’s Office, Aaron Bradley Johnson, 40 , was sentenced Wednesday to 41 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to six counts of first degree encouraging child sexual abuse.
Johnson will also be subject to 36 months of post prison supervision following his incarceration, the sheriff’s office said.
The case dates back to Oct. 30, 2025, when Lane County sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant around 8 a.m. at a residence in the 3000 block of County Farm Road in Eugene.
Authorities said Johnson, then 38, was contacted at the residence and arrested as part of an investigation by the Lane County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force , which focuses on child exploitation cases.
At the time of his arrest, the sheriff’s office reported that Johnson was booked into the Lane County Jail on multiple allegations, including counts of first and second degree encouraging child sexual abuse and additional charges related to the investigation.
Wednesday’s sentencing announcement states that Johnson ultimately pleaded guilty to six counts of first degree encouraging child sexual abuse.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation received assistance from the Oregon Department of Justice, Oregon State Police and Homeland Security Investigations .
Authorities described the case as part of a broader effort among local, state and federal agencies to investigate child exploitation and protect vulnerable members of the community.
