Warren, OH – Authorities in Trumbull County seized approximately 270 grams of suspected fentanyl and cocaine products during a drug trafficking investigation at a Warren residence, officials announced Monday.
According to the Trumbull County Sheriff 's Office, the TAG Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday in the 1700 block of Elm Road following an investigation into suspected drug trafficking at the residence.
Investigators reported seizing approximately 160 grams of suspected fentanyl, 78 grams of suspected cocaine and 32 grams of suspected crack cocaine during the search.
Authorities also recovered drug paraphernalia, a handheld drug press, ammunition and approximately $1,300 in U.S. currency, according to the sheriff's office.
The reported seizure totaled approximately 270 grams of suspected drugs. Officials did not identify any suspects, announce arrests or detail potential criminal charges in the initial release.
The operation involved multiple law enforcement agencies. The TAG Drug Task Force was assisted by the Warren City Police Department Street Crimes Unit and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A photograph released by the sheriff's office showed numerous plastic bags containing suspected substances alongside cash and other items authorities said were recovered during the investigation.
The sheriff's office thanked Trumbull County residents for their continued support as authorities work to combat illegal drug activity in the community.
Because the substances were described by authorities as suspected drugs, their exact composition would require laboratory confirmation. No additional information about the underlying investigation or whether further enforcement action is expected was immediately released.
