New Marshfield, OH – A woman wanted on multiple arrest warrants was taken into custody Tuesday, November 3, following a compliance check in the New Marshfield area of Athens County. Authorities also discovered suspected narcotics that could lead to additional charges pending laboratory testing.
According to the Athens County Sheriff 's Office, deputies assigned to K 9 Unit 1 assisted the Adult Parole Authority during a compliance check at a residence in the New Marshfield area.
During the visit, authorities identified a woman on the property as Lanie Dye. Sheriff's officials reported that Dye had multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest through Athens and Hocking counties, along with Adult Parole Authority violations.
