Lancaster Man Arrested After Sept. 3 Assault at Colonial Estates
A Lancaster man was arrested following a domestic violence investigation at Colonial Estates after allegedly assaulting his father on September 3, 2026.

Lancaster, OH – A domestic violence investigation concluded with an arrest on September 4, 2026, following a violent encounter that took place at a local residential property on September 3, 2026.
According to the Fairfield County Sheriff 's Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence located at Colonial Estates, 2445 Columbus Lancaster Road, in Lancaster, OH, 43130, to investigate reports of a domestic violence incident and felonious assault.
During the course of the investigation, law enforcement officials determined that Luke J. Castle allegedly assaulted his father, Thomas J. Childers, at the residence on September 3, 2026. Authorities subsequently took the suspect into custody in connection with the incident.
