Returning Marketplace customers should also compare their current plan with new options rather than automatically renewing. HealthCare.gov advises consumers to review 2027 plans and prices because another plan may offer a better combination of premiums and benefits.

Open enrollment continues through Jan. 15, 2027 . Coverage generally begins Feb. 1 for consumers enrolling between Dec. 16 and Jan. 15.
