Cleveland, OH – Northeast Ohio residents are experiencing an unusually mild start to November, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s to near 70 degrees Monday, November 2, before even warmer conditions potentially push parts of northwest Ohio toward record highs Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, temperatures Monday will range from 65 to 70 degrees across much of northern Ohio, with a few sprinkles or light rain showers possible through the evening.
The warmer than normal conditions extend across communities including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Toledo, Sandusky, Mansfield and Youngstown.
Light Showers Possible Across Northern Ohio Today Despite the mild temperatures, forecasters say scattered light precipitation could develop in some communities Monday.
The National Weather Service estimates precipitation probabilities of approximately 15% in Cleveland, 19% in Akron, 18% in Canton, 17% in Toledo and 20% near Ashtabula.
Mansfield carries roughly a 19% chance, while Marion has a slightly higher probability near 23%.
These relatively low percentages suggest many locations could remain dry throughout the day, although brief showers may affect outdoor activities and evening travel.
Near Record Warmth Possible Tuesday Tuesday, November 3, could bring an even more unusual temperature pattern.
Forecasters indicate temperatures will climb further, with near record daily highs possible across northwest Ohio , including the Toledo region.
While the exact temperatures needed to break records were not provided in the latest forecast graphic, the potential warmth stands out for early November.
However, the mild and relatively dry conditions will not last indefinitely.
Rain is expected to return Wednesday, November 4 , bringing another change in conditions across northern Ohio.
Residents planning outdoor work, commuting or travel should monitor updated forecasts as precipitation timing becomes clearer.
