Cleveland, Ohio – Cool, damp conditions continue tonight as temperatures fall into the 50s, with scattered showers favoring areas south and west of Cleveland.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, rain chances will be highest toward central Ohio. Much of far northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania could remain dry, although a few sprinkles or a light shower are possible.
The NWS outlook gives Cleveland a 31% chance of measurable rain tonight, with a low near 57 degrees. Akron has a 45% chance of rain and a low near 54.
Rain chances increase farther southwest. Mansfield has a 60% chance of measurable rain, while Marion is at 56% and Findlay at 42%. Overnight temperatures are expected to fall to about 53 in Mansfield, 56 in Marion and 56 in Findlay.
Farther west, Toledo has a 37% rain chance and a low near 58 degrees. Sandusky has a 39% chance, with temperatures falling to around 57.
Conditions trend drier farther northeast. Youngstown is expected to fall to around 54 degrees, while Ashtabula reaches about 54. Erie, Pennsylvania, is expected to drop to around 53, with Meadville near 52.
Drivers should be prepared for locally wet pavement where showers develop, particularly across central Ohio. Rain will not be widespread across the entire region, and communities farther northeast have a greater chance of staying dry.
Temperatures will fall into the 50s across the region tonight as the chilly, damp pattern continues. Occasional shower chances will remain concentrated toward central Ohio, with only isolated sprinkles or light rain farther northeast.
