CLEVELAND, OH – Residents across northern Ohio will get a temporary break from wet weather Thursday, November 5, before another weather system brings widespread rain Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will also turn cooler, dropping from the 60s into the 50s as the weekend approaches.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, lingering rain showers will exit the region Thursday, allowing drier conditions to develop before the next system arrives Friday.
Thursday Brings a Brief Break From Rain Thursday will offer improving weather conditions across northern Ohio as earlier showers move away from the region.
Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the 60s, providing a relatively mild day before cooler air settles in.
Skies will become partly cloudy, with overnight temperatures falling into the 40s.
The dry weather will be short lived, however, as another system approaches northern Ohio heading into Friday.
Widespread Rain Returns Friday and Saturday Friday, November 6, will bring widespread rain showers across the region, with temperatures dropping into the 50s.
The National Weather Service expects unsettled conditions to continue Saturday, November 7, as the weather system moves through the area.

Rain could create slick road conditions and reduced visibility during heavier showers, particularly during busy travel periods.
Temperatures will remain closer to seasonal averages, with afternoon highs generally in the 50s through the weekend.
