Cincinnati, OH – Dry weather is expected across the Cincinnati region through most of the week, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s Wednesday before precipitation chances begin increasing Sunday, Oct. 11.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, dry conditions will dominate most of the week before rain chances return near the end of the weekend.
The agency's regional temperature forecast shows an average high near 68 degrees Tuesday before a sharp warmup Wednesday, when the regional average reaches about 79. Thursday's average high is forecast near 76.
Slightly cooler conditions follow Friday, with a regional average high around 72 degrees. Temperatures rebound to about 75 Saturday and 76 Sunday.
Overnight and early morning temperatures will generally fall into the upper 40s and 50s. The regional forecast shows lows around 49 Wednesday morning, 51 Thursday morning, 57 Friday morning, 53 Saturday morning and 51 Sunday morning.
Rain chances remain essentially zero Tuesday and Wednesday. Probabilities stay very low Thursday through Saturday, generally no higher than about 2%.
That begins to change Sunday. The NWS graphic shows precipitation probabilities increasing from around 2% early in the day to 7%, 15% and eventually about 23% later Sunday.
The forecast represents regional averages across the NWS Wilmington forecast area, so temperatures and rain chances at individual locations, including Cincinnati, may vary.
Residents should expect a predominantly dry week, with Sunday bringing the first notable increase in the chance for precipitation.
