Wilmington, OH – Dry weather is expected across the Ohio Valley through Friday, with temperatures dipping into the 40s early next week before rebounding into the 70s.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, precipitation chances are near zero across the region throughout the seven day forecast beginning Saturday, Oct. 3. The forecast covers the Cincinnati Dayton region and surrounding portions of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
Temperatures will vary considerably during the week. Regional readings Saturday are forecast to rise from the lower 50s during the morning to around 69 degrees during the afternoon.
Sunday turns warmer, with a regional high near 72 degrees after morning temperatures around 52. A cooler pattern then develops, with Monday topping out near 65 degrees.
The chilliest period is expected Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Regional temperatures could fall to around 45 degrees early Tuesday and again Wednesday before afternoon readings recover into the mid 60s Tuesday and lower 70s Wednesday.
The forecast does not indicate freezing temperatures or a frost threat. The lowest regional readings shown remain in the mid 40s.
Warmer afternoons return later in the week. Thursday and Friday are forecast to reach around 75 degrees, while overnight and early morning temperatures generally remain in the lower 50s.
Rain chances remain essentially absent through most of the period, with the NWS chart showing regional probabilities generally between zero and 2%.
Residents across the region can expect a prolonged stretch of dry weather, cool early week mornings and a warming trend toward the end of the workweek.
