Cincinnati, OH – Dry weather is expected across the region through most of the week, with temperatures climbing into the 70s before rain chances increase late in the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, its Oct. 5 regional outlook shows essentially no precipitation through Wednesday, with only minimal chances Thursday and Friday. Saturday also remains largely dry.
Temperatures are expected to warm quickly after cool mornings. The NWS regional temperature forecast shows highs around 68 Monday and Tuesday before reaching about 77 Wednesday. Highs are projected near 74 Thursday and Friday and around 75 Saturday.
Overnight and early morning temperatures generally fall into the upper 40s to 50s during the week, according to the regional forecast graphic.
The more notable change arrives Sunday. Precipitation probabilities begin increasing during the day, rising from about 6% to 22% across the regional forecast period shown for Sunday. Rain chances remain elevated into Monday, generally around 16% to 24%.
Those probabilities indicate rain is possible rather than certain, and the NWS post says rain will move into the region late in the weekend. The graphic does not provide expected rainfall totals or identify any severe weather threat.
Sunday could also be one of the warmer days in the outlook, with the regional high near 76 before temperatures remain comparatively mild into Monday.
Residents across the NWS Wilmington forecast region should expect mostly dry conditions through much of the workweek and Saturday, with the next meaningful opportunity for rain developing Sunday and continuing into Monday.
