Grand Forks, ND – Scattered light showers will wind down by midday Saturday across the Grand Forks region, followed by a mostly quiet stretch of weather through Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, temperatures will climb into the 60s to near 70 degrees Saturday afternoon as skies become partly sunny. Southeast winds will turn northwest at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Mostly sunny conditions are expected Sunday, with northwest winds from 10 to 15 mph. Highs will range from 58 to 64 degrees, while overnight lows fall between 37 and 47.
Monday remains mostly sunny, though winds will increase from the southeast to 15 to 30 mph. Temperatures are forecast to range from 59 to 68 degrees during the day before dropping to between 34 and 41 degrees overnight.
The warming trend becomes more noticeable Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies are forecast with highs from 68 to 77 degrees. Winds will turn west and then northwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Overall, the NWS expects quiet weather to prevail for the remainder of the weekend and into the first half of next week. After Saturday morning's scattered showers end, no additional precipitation is indicated in the outlook through Tuesday.
