Amity, OR – The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, with help from multiple mutual aid partners, is actively searching for a man who allegedly fled following a vehicle pursuit early Tuesday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit began on McKee Road, just off Highway 99 south of Amity, when deputies deployed stop sticks that deflated the vehicle’s tires, causing it to veer off the roadway. The suspect then fled on foot into the nearby area.

Authorities identified the outstanding male as Keith Edwin Becker, 36, described as approximately 5’10”, 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie and high-visibility coveralls.

Deputies say a K9 track is active west of McKee Road, between Laughter Lane and Perrydale Road. Becker is wanted in connection with multiple alleged burglaries and thefts in the region.

Residents in the area are urged to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the Yamhill County Sheriff’s dispatch center at 503-434-6500.

Authorities have not indicated any injuries in the pursuit, and the search remains ongoing as of Tuesday morning.
