Investigators say the victim was inside the bar when he was confronted by three unknown individuals who allegedly began punching, kicking, and choking him without provocation.
Staff at the hotel intervened and warned the attackers that police had been called, prompting the suspects to flee the scene, police said. The victim was transported to hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

He was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with a release order, according to police.
Both suspects were detained in custody. Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and a third suspect has not yet been located.
