Milton, VT – Michael Gembarowski, 36, was discovered dead on his kitchen floor in 1995. Initially believed to have died from natural causes, an autopsy later revealed he had been shot. Authorities ruled his death a homicide, but nearly three decades later, the case remains unsolved.
According to Vermont State Police, Gembarowski’s body was found on September 9, 1995, during a welfare check at his McMullen Road home. What seemed like a natural death quickly turned into a homicide investigation after an autopsy showed he had been fatally shot.
Vermont authorities are still seeking information to solve the case and bring closure to Gembarowski’s family. The Vermont State Police continue to urge anyone with knowledge of the crime to come forward, stressing that even minor details could help.
