Flagstaff, AZ – Thunderstorm activity across Northern Arizona is expected to decrease this weekend as drier weather moves in from the west. While thunderstorms remain possible, the chances are lower, especially in Flagstaff. Isolated storms will be more frequent in eastern Arizona, particularly in the White Mountains region.

According to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, storm coverage will reduce to isolated showers by Saturday, continuing into early next week. Flagstaff can expect temperatures in the mid-70s, with lows in the mid-50s throughout the weekend. Monday and Tuesday will see scattered storms primarily affecting the White Mountains, with lesser chances in Flagstaff.

Residents in Flagstaff should still prepare for possible rain but can anticipate mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. Eastern Arizona and the White Mountains should remain vigilant, as they are more likely to experience scattered thunderstorms during this period.

By midweek, the weather will stabilize further, with drier conditions expected to dominate across Northern Arizona.
