According to the Peoria Police Department, officers were dispatched around 4:00 p.m. on October 25, 2025, to the 2600 block of West Krause after reports of 14 rounds fired. Just one minute later, another alert was received from the 2200 block of West Malone, reporting additional shots.
Officers did not locate any victims at either scene. Shortly afterward, police were notified that a 19-year-old male had been dropped off at a local hospital by a private vehicle. The victim suffered a grazing gunshot wound to his buttocks, and his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
