Cleveland, OH – A mix of lake-effect snow and a warming trend will impact Northeast Ohio through the weekend, bringing slippery roads before temperatures climb.

According to the National Weather Service, widespread snow Thursday morning will transition into lake-effect snowfall by the evening, with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected. Drivers should prepare for hazardous road conditions, especially during the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

Friday will bring drier conditions, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 24°F. By Saturday, sunshine returns as temperatures rise to 32°F. Sunday continues the warming trend, reaching 36°F with mostly cloudy skies.

Next week, temperatures climb into the 40s, with chances of rain replacing snow by Monday. The gradual thaw could lead to melting snow and slick spots on roads.

Residents should exercise caution while driving in snowy conditions and prepare for fluctuating temperatures. Stay updated on road conditions and forecasts before heading out.
