Gaylord, MI – The National Weather Service in Gaylord says northern Michigan will enjoy a beautiful, cool fall weekend, with sunshine returning after some early morning clouds and isolated sprinkles near Grand Traverse Bay.
Forecasters expect highs Saturday between 49°F and 55°F, gradually warming under increasingly sunny skies this afternoon. Tonight will be clear and chilly, with lows dipping into the upper 20s and lower 30s, and patchy fog possible in low-lying areas.
Sunday looks to be a pleasant and sunny fall day, with highs climbing into the low to upper 50s, ideal for outdoor activities and leaf-peeping across northern Lower and eastern Upper Michigan.
The NWS says the region will remain dry through the weekend, with calm winds and no major weather systems expected until midweek. Residents should plan for frosty mornings and cool evenings, typical of late-October in the Great Lakes region.
